News highlights of the day include Husqvarna, Maruti, KTM and Bajaj.
Husqvarna – Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 deliveries commence in India. The bikes come with a price tag of Rs. 1.80 lakhs (ex-showroom). They share most of the mechanical bits with the KTM Duke 250. Powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing for 29.6 BHP and 24 Nm of peak torque.
Maruti Suzuki – Some NEXA dealers are offering up to Rs. 50,000/- off on Ciaz, Baleno and Ignis for March 2020. In order to boost sales, the Ciaz is being offered with Rs. 50,000/- off, Baleno with Rs. 45,000/- off and Ignis with Rs. 35,000/- off.
KTM Duke 790 – The KTM Duke 790 was launched in India with a heavy price tag of Rs. 8.64 lakhs (ex-showroom). Very limited units were imported to the country and now dealers are selling it for heavy discounts. Some of the dealers are offering the Duke 790 for Rs. 5.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Bajaj Dominar 400 – While the Dominar 250 launch is around the corner, the Dominar 400 BS6 specs have been revealed. The flagship bike will come with a BS6 engine offering the same power output of 40 PS at a slightly higher RPM of 8800 RPM as compared to the previous 8650 RPM.
