TVS – The Indian automaker has announced that they will provide free COVID-19 vaccines for all their employees and their immediate family members. Around 35,000 direct and indirect employees across the country will get vaccinated.
Volvo – The Swedish brand has announced that they will go fully electric by 2030. Volvo has also announced their plan to move all the sales online. The carmaker is phasing out the internal combustion engine powered lineup gradually. They claim their first all-electric product XC40 Recharge got a positive response and now they are betting big on their second EV C40 Recharge that was revealed recently.
Tata – Seems like the Indian carmaker has managed to crack the initial product launch attention with the new Tata Safari. The SUV is getting a good response and the waiting period has already started climbing up. Currently, there is a waiting queue of 45 days for the new Safari. Even the range topping Adventure Persona edition is getting good traction from the customers.
Airbags – Announced a few months back, the new safety rule of mandatory dual front airbags in passenger cars will be implemented from 1st April this year. All new models will have to comply with this norm from 1st April while the existing models on sale will have to comply with the rule from 1st September.
