News highlights of the day include Volkswagen, Bajaj, Aprilia and Mahindra.
Volkswagen T-Roc – The German carmaker showcased the compact SUV at the Auto Expo 2020. The car is now scheduled to launch in India on 18th March. It will be imported via the CBU route and will be offered in a single variant powered by a 1.5-litre TSI engine.
Bajaj Dominar 250 – The entry-level Dominar has been officially teased in the latest video. The Indian bike maker will be introducing the Dominar 250 in the next 5 days in India with a price tag of Rs. 1.60 lakhs (ex-showroom). Bookings are open at select dealerships.
Aprilia Tuono 125 – The bike has been listed on Aprilia India website. It is the international version of the bike and we hope the Italian brand is considering to introduce it in India but there is no such news about it yet. Powered by a 124.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 15 PS and 11 Nm.
Mahindra Marazzo – The Indian UV maker is planning to introduce Marazzo petrol in the market soon. It is likely to make its debut with the mStallion 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. The latest range of petrol engines from Mahindra were showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Marazzo petrol is likely to be introduced by April.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, Tesla Model 3 is the fastest charging production car. It offers about 290 km of range in 15 minutes of fast charging at a peak rate of 250 kW.
