Triumph – The British premium motorcycle maker is about to launch the Triumph Rocket 3 GT in India on 10th September. It is a cruiser version of the motorcycle which is powered by a 2500cc, liquid cooled engine producing 167 HP and 221 Nm of torque. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 20 lakhs (ex-showroom).
TVS – The Indian bike maker has pumped additional investment of Rs. 30 crores in Ultraviolette Automotive. The Bengaluru-based EV startup is coming up with a sporty electric bike F77 which will hit the streets next year. The bike produces 25 kW and 90 Nm of torque. It will be launched across the country in a phased manner.
Kia – The much awaited Kia Sonet compact SUV production has commenced at their facility in Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh. The first unit has rolled out of the line. It will be launched on 18th September and the deliveries will commence on the same day. The Kia Sonet will be offered with three engine options and multiple transmission options. It shares most of its mechanicals with the Hyundai Venue.
Volkswagen – The German carmaker is coming up with their first fully electric SUV which is called Volkswagen ID.4. The interior of their upcoming EV is completely revealed and it looks very similar to ID.3. It comes with a large floating touchscreen infotainment system. The dashboard has a simple design and it comes with ambient lighting.
