Toyota – Toyota Yaris Cross launched in Japan, priced from 1,798,000 yen (Rs. 12.45 lakhs). It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine which is available in two variants. It comes with features like Full Speed Range Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Adaptive Hi-beam System (AHS), Pre-collision Safety System, Low Speed Acceleration Control, Emergency Steering Assist and Road Sign Assist (RSA).
Royal Enfield – The bike maker delivers over 1000 bikes in Kerala in a single day on the auspicious festival of Onam. It is a big festival in South India. Royal Enfield has over 59 dealerships and 25 studio stores in Kerala. The Indian bike maker is currently preparing to introduce new Meteor 350 and is testing many more bikes for India launch in the near future.
Maruti Suzuki – Maruti Arena dealership network turns 3 year old today. India’s largest carmaker introduced a tech savvy dealership layout with touchscreen systems and customisation zones along with a cafe to improve the customer experience. They currently have over 745 such outlets across the country.
Audi – The German luxury carmaker has appointed Jubilant MotorWorks as their new dealer partner for Audi Mumbai South. Their showrooms is spread over 5500 sq. ft. and has a 5 car display. The workshop is spread over 40,000 sq. ft. and houses 20 bays. Now Audi’s Mumbai network has 2 sales showrooms & 3 service workshops including 1 workshop in Thane.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, the interior upholstery of a Bentley requires around 480 leather elements laced with 40,000 stitches, most of which is hand stitched.
