Nissan – The much awaited Nissan Magnite compact SUV has entered production at the Japanese carmaker’s Oragadam plant. Launch is scheduled by the end of 2020. Based on the Renault-Nissan’s CMF-A+ modular platform. It will be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Expected to be priced from Rs. 5.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Toyota – This Japanese brand is known for its reliability and good after sales service. To add to this image of the brand, the company has introduced 87 new service centres across the country. These new ‘Pro Service’ outlets have been opened in small towns where Toyota never had an authorised service centre. The network expansion has happened in Haryana, Rajasthan, Assam, West Bengal and Gujarat.
Honda – The 2-wheeler maker is offering new schemes to push the sales of their recently launched Honda H’ness CB350. The Japanese bike maker is offering 100 percent finance on the on-road price of the bike. They are also offering low interest rate of 5.6 percent that will result in saving of Rs. 43,000/-. Also, there is a Rs. 4999/- EMI plan for buyers.
Lexus – The Lexus LC Aviation Edition is a limited-run model exclusive to Japan. It comes with a unique spoiler with downturned winglets that are functional and generate a vertical vortex to smooth out turbulence generated by the car’s flanks. The car comes with black sporty elements to differentiate it from the regular model.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, some Ford and GMC models have touch sensitive locks on their B-pillars which lets you lock the car using a password.
