News highlights of the day include Toyota, Mercedes, Nissan and Triumph.
Toyota – The new facelifted Toyota Fortuner that was spied recently will debut on 4th June. It will get styling tweaks with revised front fascia and updated interior. India launch expected by next year.
Mercedes-Benz – The new generation Mercedes GLS flagship SUV will finally launch in India on 17th June. The German luxury carmaker scheduled to launch it by April but due to the lockdown it got delayed. It’s expected to come with 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options.
Nissan – Nissan has teased a range of new cars. One of them is the 400Z. It is the successor to the 370Z and is likely to come with 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine with power expected to be 400 BHP.
Triumph – The British premium motorcycle maker will introduce the Triumph Bonneville T100 Black in India. It is scheduled to launch in June. Comes with black styling all across the body.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, Volvo means “I roll” in Latin. Their logo is a circle with an arrow pointing out, it is an ancient chemical symbol for iron.
