News highlights of the day include GWM, Mahindra, Renault, Nissan and Tata Motors.
Great Wall Motors – The Chinese carmaker will make its India debut at the Auto Expo 2020 next month with the Haval Concept H SUV. It will be showcased alongside the Haval Vision 2025.
Mahindra – The Indian carmaker will showcase a wide range of electric cars at the Auto Expo 2020. The teaser image shows new Atom electric quadricycle, eKUV100, eXUV300 and eXUV500. The next generation Mahindra XUV500 is likely to make its debut in electric concept form at the Auto Expo.
Renault Triber – The Renault Triber has just been updated with BS6 compliant 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. It is priced from Rs. 4.99 lakhs for the base RxE trim while the range topping RxZ comes with a price tag of Rs. 6.78 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). There is a price difference of Rs. 4000/- to Rs. 29,000/- depending on the variant.
Nissan – The Japanese carmaker has teased a sub-4 metre compact SUV for the Indian market. It will compete with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon. Nissan is likely to showcase the concept soon.
Tata Harrier – The Tata Harrier will finally get a sunroof and automatic transmission option after a year of its launch. The Indian carmaker has officially teased the new features in their latest video. We can also expect new colour options along with new alloy wheel design with this update of the Harrier.
