Kawasaki to hike prices from January 2021 in India

Audi – The German luxury carmaker is all set to introduce their first car of 2021, the facelifted Audi A4 on 5th January. The updated model will come with sharp exterior styling, cosmetic changes on the interior as well as new features on offer. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 190 HP.

Maruti – Maruti Suzuki has crossed a new milestone with the Super Carry LCV crossing 70,000 sales. They introduced their first commercial vehicle back in 2016 with limited dealerships for the LCV. It currently holds a 20 percent market share in its segment. While it was introduced with a diesel engine, it is currently available with a petrol and petrol+CNG engine option.

Motor Vehicle Documents – The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has extended the validity of the motor vehicle documents till 31st March 2021. This applies for documents like fitness certificates, permits, driving license, registration certificates, etc. The authorities have taken this move to prevent the spread of COVID-19

HSRP – The sudden announcement of HSRP and colour coded stickers implementation in Delhi has created a panic. The Delhi High Court has recommended the state government to give more time to the citizens to obtain the high security registration plates and colour coded stickers. There is a long waiting period for the appointments of application and the traffic police has already started issuing challans of Rs. 5500 to the violators.
