Mahindra Thar is now booked until May 2021

Hyundai – The South Korean carmaker has teased a new SUV christened Hyundai Bayon. It will be introduced in the European market and will be positioned under Kona. The Hyundai Bayon will replace the i20 Active and is based on the new generation i20 platform. Expected to be introduced with a petrol-only engine lineup.

Tata – The Tata Tiago has got a revised service schedule. The BS6 version comes with an extended service interval. It has now increased from 6 months to 1 year/15,000 km whichever comes earlier. This revised interval is applicable only to the BS6 units introduced with the facelift in January. The pre-facelift Tiago service interval is 6 months.

Mahindra – The Indian off-road vehicle scored an impressive 4-star safety rating for both adult and child occupants at the Global NCAP crash tests. The carmaker has announced that the new generation Thar is now booked until May 2021. The production will ramp up by 50 percent considering the huge demand.

Skoda – The Czech carmaker is preparing to introduce around 4 new cars in 2021. The first one to be launched is the new generation Octavia. However, the launch has been delayed from February 2021 to Q2 2021 due to production constraints and supply chain issues. The BS6 version of the Kodiaq SUV is also expected to launch by Q2 2021 while the mid-size SUV will be introduced in mid-2021. The C-segment sedan will be introduced later in 2021, by the festive season.
