News highlights of the day include Honda, Triumph, BMW and Maruti Suzuki.
2020 Honda Africa Twin – The Japanese bike maker will introduce the new Honda Africa Twin in India on 5th March. It comes with a more powerful engine, lighter frame and more features on offer. Powered by a 1084cc parallel-twin liquid cooled engine producing 102 HP at 7500 RPM and 105 Nm at 6250 RPM.
2020 Triumph Street Triple RS – It’s raining bikes this season. One of them is the new Triumph Street Triple RS that was revealed recently in the international market. The bike gets new cosmetic tweaks, new features and revised performance with stronger mid-range.
BMW X5M & X6M – The performance oriented M Division SUVs from the German luxury carmaker are heading to India by September this year. The X5M and X6M are powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 engine with an xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
Maruti S-Cross – The Maruti S-Cross crossover was available in the Indian market only with diesel engine options since launch. Since Maruti Suzuki isn’t ready with a BS6 diesel yet, the S-Cross diesel has been discontinued. It was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 with the 1.5-litre BS6 petrol engine, which will be introduced very soon.
