Kia – The South Korean carmaker Kia has achieved a new milestone of crossing 2 lakh unit sales in India since launch. They have achieved this within 17 months of launch, which they claim to be the fastest car manufacturer to reach the milestone.
Mercedes – The new generation Mercedes S-Class has just been launched in the international market recently and the German luxury carmaker has already issued a recall. Around 1400 units of the new gen S-Class are affected in this recall over faulty steering tie rods. With the missing tie rod the connection to the steering rack might not permanently withstand the stress of driving.
Maruti – Yet another milestone achieved by the larges carmaker in India. They have crossed 23 lakh unit sales for the Swift hatch since its launch in 2005. The current generation Maruti Swift was launched in 2018 and it is due for a facelift which is expected to come very soon as we have spotted one recently.
Nissan – The Japanese carmaker will be celebrating 72nd Republic Day in India with the deliveries of over 720 Nissan Magnite cars across the country. They are also introducing ‘Happy with Nissan’ program under which free 60-point vehicle check-up, free car top wash, free oil filter will be offered for customers who could not avail the service due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Up to 50% discount on parts and accessories and up to 20% discount on labour charges is offered as well.
