Toyota – After spotting it multiples times in India, the much awaited Toyota Fortuner facelift launch has been announced officially for 6th January, 2021. The premium SUV will get mild cosmetic changes including new headlights, tail lights, bumpers and alloys along with updated interior with more features. It will also come with a sporty Legender variant and a more powerful diesel engine.
Honda – The Honda Shine motorcycle has crossed a big milestone of selling 90 lakh units. It is currently the best-selling 125cc motorcycle in India. It was launched for the first time in 2006 and has been updated frequently to keep the competition away. The Honda Shine has enjoyed a big chunk of market share soon after its launch in its segment.
McLaren – The British supercar maker has come up with a limited edition McLaren Sabre made exclusively for the US market by McLaren Special Operations. It is limited to only 15 units. It is powered by a twin-turbo V8 that develops 824 HP and 800 Nm of torque. It comes with a claimed top speed of 351 km/hr, making it the fastest ever 2-seater McLaren.
Volkswagen – The German carmaker showcased the Taigun production-ready concept during the 2020 Auto Expo. Since then it has not been in the news. Now, Volkswagen India has teased the compact SUV officially and has confirmed in their social media handles about the launch of the car in 2021. The Taigun is expected to hit the showrooms by mid-2021.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, Apollo Intensa Emozione is powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine which can rev up to 11,000 RPM.
