Skoda – The Skoda Auto Volkswagen India group has crossed a new milestone. They have exported more than 5 lakh cars from India within 10 years. Over 25,000 units have been exported this year. The group is betting big on their future in India with four new products planned for next year. The upcoming made-in-India cars will get high localisation.
Mercedes – The German luxury carmaker recently announced that they’ll commence local assembly of their AMG lineup in India. The first CKD AMG product will be the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe that will be introduced on 3rd November in India. It will roll-out from their assembly plant in Chakan. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 80 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Suzuki – Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited (SMG) is celebrating its new milestone of crossing 1 million production mark. The plant commenced operations in February 2017 and within 4 years they have achieved this huge landmark production figure. The first car to be produced in this plant was the Maruti Baleno.
Renault – The French carmaker has ramped up their service network across India. Within 2 months of time, Renault has added 34 new sales and service touchpoints across India. A total of 90 new sales and service touchpoints have been added in less than a year. Currently, they have more than 415 sales and 475 service touchpoints across our country. They are planning to launch a new compact SUV by next year.
