Kia – The South Korean carmaker has managed to create a big mark with its third product in India. The Kia Sonet is being received very well in the market and has now crossed 50,000 bookings within 2 months of launch. They claim 2 Sonet units are being booked in every thee minutes. 60 percent of the bookings are coming from the petrol variants. 9266 units were despatched in September 2020.
SsangYong – The carmaker is preparing to introduce a significant updated for the SsangYong Rexton. It will be revealed on 2nd November officially. The teaser image reveals mild details of the new update which makes it look fresh with the new styling. It is expected to get Mahindra’s turbo petrol engine.
Harley-Davidson – The American bike maker has recalled some units of the LiveWire electric bike in US. The bikes are being recalled for a software update to rectify on-board charging issues in some units.
Hero MotoCorp – The Indian two-wheeler maker has hiked the pricing of the Xtreme 160R. It is now Rs. 2050/- more expensive and comes with a starting price of Rs. 1.02 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The higher variant gets a lower price hike of Rs. 1550/-. This increase in price takes away its tag of the most affordable premium 150cc bike in the market.
