News highlights of the day include Citroen, Mercedes, Honda, Hyundai and Kia.
Citroen – The French brand is about to launch its first product the Citroen C5 Aircross by August this year. One of the first Citroen dealerships in India will be in Ahmedabad. The carmaker will set up 15 dealerships across the country in their first phase.
Mercedes GLC Coupe – The German luxury carmaker is all set to introduce the facelifted version of the Mercedes GLC Coupe in India on 3rd March. This will be the non-AMG version of the coupe that will be launched for the first time in India. The update will come with similar changes as seen on the regular GLC.
Honda CB Shine 125 – The Japanese bike maker has introduced the BS6 version of the CB Shine 125 which is priced at Rs. 67,857/- (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike is Rs. 7867/- more expensive than the BS4 counterpart. It comes with DC headlamp, engine start/stop switch and new graphics. Official figures haven’t been revealed for BS6 motor but it’ll produce more or less the same 10.88 PS of power and 10.9 Nm of torque.
Hyundai & Kia – The Hyundai Group is coming up with a new intelligent automatic transmission technology. The tech identifies the road, traffic conditions, turns, etc. to analyse and change gears accordingly.
