Volkswagen – The German carmaker has revealed the 2021 Volkswagen Phideon flagship sedan in China. The facelifted car gets a host of updates at the Beijing Auto Show. It comes with cosmetic changes including new lights, bumpers grille, etc. There are some changes in the interior too along with new features like 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment, head-up display, infrared night vision, rear car refrigerator and a Dynaudio sound system. It also gets optional adaptive air suspension. The 3.0-litre V6 powertrain has been replaced by a new 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid.
BMW – The German luxury carmaker has revealed a new special edition BMW X2 M Mesh Edition. It is not a full fledged M car but gets M Sport Exterior, Shadowline and Extended Shadowline packages. It comes with sporty exterior and interior elements. Available in Alpine White, Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Phytonic Blue Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic and Sunset Orange Metallic colour options. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 228 HP.
Audi – The mid-cycle update for the Audi RS5 has arrived in US. It comes with subtle exterior and interior tweaks along with new features. The biggest addition to the car is a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system running on the latest MIB3 software offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is powered by the same twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 producing 444 HP and 600 NM of torque. It’s paired to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission with Quattro all-wheel-drive system and a sport rear differential as standard. Audi claims a 0-100 km/hr in 3.7 seconds and 250 km/hr top speed.
Lexus – The Japanese luxury carmaker has introduced a new limited edition Lexus UX Black Line variant. It is offered in three colour options – Grecian Water paint finish, Eminent White Pearl and Caviar. Gets sporty exterior and interior treatment with emphasis on black embellishments. It is limited to 1000 units.
