MG ZS EV now available in 6 more cities

Hyundai – Hyundai sold 6883 cars in May while they exported 5700 units last month. Cumulative 12,583 units sold last month. They have received over 24,000 bookings for the new Creta. 850 showrooms and 1000 workshops have reopened.

BMW – The German luxury carmaker has resumed their operations at the Chennai plant. With less than 50 percent of workforce, the company is ensuring full safety for their employees and customers. New packages introduced to clean and sanitise the cars at workshops.

MG Motor – MG sells 710 vehicles in May. 65 percent of their showrooms and service centres are operational in India. MG ZS EV is now available in 6 more cities – Pune, Surat, Cochin, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Chennai.

Maruti – Total sales for Maruti Suzuki including exports is 18,539 units in May. The carmaker sold 13,888 vehicles in the domestic market. For those who are not aware of their past sales, they sold over 1.2 lakh units in the same period last year.

Toyota – The Japanese carmaker sold 1639 units in May. Toyota has opened 290 dealerships and 230 service centres across the country. 928 units have been exported. 12,138 units were sold at the same time last year.

Motor Trivia – Did you know, the 6 starts in Subaru logo refer to a cluster of starts in Taurus constellation. Subaru means Taurus in Japanese.
