Nissan – The next big launch for the Japanese carmaker is all set to hit the showrooms. The Nissan Magnite compact SUV will be introduced in the market on 26th November. It will compete against a sea of compact SUVs powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor.
Maruti – The very popular MPV Maruti Ertiga has crossed a new sales milestone of 5.5 lakh units since its launch. It is the highest selling MPV in the market that was launched back in 2012. Currently in its second generation, the Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine which is also available with factory-fitted CNG powertrain. The MPV was introduced with a diesel engine as well which got discontinued as the BS6 norms kicked in.
Volkswagen – The German carmaker showcased their new compact SUV to rival the Hyundai Creta during the Auto Expo 2020. The Volkswagen Taigun has now been officially listed on the Volkswagen India website. The launch might have been delayed due to production and supply chain constraints during the lockdown period but we expect it to make its debut in India by early next year.
Renault – The French carmaker recently teased their upcoming compact SUV concept which is likely to be named Kiger, it will be revealed tomorrow. Renault has sold over 3000 units of cars during Diwali and Dhanteras this year.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, the first Pagani Zonda, owned by Mr. Horacio Pagani, was used as a test mule for every other Zonda edition ever made.
