Honda – With the BS6 transition followed by the lockdown, Honda temporarily discontinued the Civic diesel. Now, the Japanese carmaker is accepting the bookings for the BS6 diesel Civic, launch expected very soon with a marginal price hike.
Audi – The German luxury carmaker has teased the new generation Audi RS7 in India. The performance 5-door sedan is about to launch very soon in India. It comes with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that churns out 600 PS of power and 800 Nm torque. 0-100 km/hr is claimed to be 3.6 seconds while the top speed is rated at 280 km/hr.
Bajaj – After pausing the bookings for the Chetak electric scooter, Bajaj Auto has now resumed the bookings online. The Indian bike maker had put the bookings on hold a couple of months back since the production halted as the supply chain got affected due to the worldwide lockdown. There is a long waiting period and the deliveries will commence later this year.
Hyundai – The new generation Hyundai Creta has gathered more than 30,000 bookings since launch. Out of these, 55 percent bookings are for the diesel variants.
