Hyundai – The Hyundai Creta is an extremely popular car, not only in India but in the international markets as well. The South Korean carmaker has crossed a new milestone of exporting more than 2,00,000 units of the made in India Creta since its first generation. They started exporting the SUV from India in 2015. Hyundai is the largest passenger vehicle exporter currently in India. They export India made cars to 88 countries.
Mercedes-Benz – The German luxury carmaker has sold more than 5000 units in India in 2020 as of now. They sold 2058 units in the third quarter July-September 2020. The Mercedes E-Class and the GLC are currently their highest selling cars in India. The A-Class sedan is about to launch soon, which is expected to churn out huge volumes for them in India.
KTM – The much awaited KTM 250 Adventure is about to launch soon in India. Ahead of its launch, some dealers are already accepting unofficial bookings for the quarter-litre adventure bike. It will share its engine with the 250cc siblings in the Bajaj family. Expected to be priced around Rs. 2.30 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Vahan – The online Vahan portal now offers multiple services related to vehicles. You can make modifications and applications online for driving licence, vehicle registration, etc. One can even transfer the ownership online with minimal physical documentation requirement.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, the Acura NSX (New Sports Experimental) was the world’s first car that was produced completely with aluminium.
