News highlights of the day include BMW, Harley-Davdison, Mercedes and Toyota.
BMW – The German luxury carmaker has officially teased the new 5-Series facelift that was leaked a few days back. It will come with minor styling tweaks and new features on offer. It is likely to launch in India later this year.
Harley-Davdison – During the ongoing pandemic and social distancing being the new norm, Harley-Davidson has taken few initiatives. The American bike maker has started contact-less home delivery service of new bikes. They have also announced 30-day extension of warranties expiring during the lockdown.
Mercedes – The luxury carmaker will introduce the new Mercedes-AMG C63 and AMG GT R on 27th May in India. Both the performance centric cars will be launched online due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and nationwide lockdown. The cars will be available in limited numbers in India.
Toyota – The Japanese carmaker has launched the updated BS6 compliant Toyota Camry in the Indian market. There are no changes to the power output, no changes in terms of styling and features. Only the engine has been updated to meet the BS6 emission norms. It is priced at Rs. 37.88 lakhs (ex-showroom).
