Mercedes – The German luxury carmaker will increase the pricing of select models in India by 2 percent from October. Mercedes-Benz India says that the rising input costs and weakening Indian rupee has led to this decision. Also, the introduction of Mercedes Me Connect feature across all the cars in their lineup is one of the reasons for price revision as well.
McLaren – The exotic carmaker’s state of the art headquarters situated in Woking, United Kingdom, is up for sale for $256 million (Rs. 1880 crores). They plan to liquidate the cash and get a long term lease for the property for effective growth of the company as the company has suffered a lot due to the pandemic. Their headquarters is one of the most iconic looking buildings in the world.
BMW – The much awaited BMW R18 is all set launch in the Indian market on 19th September. BMW Motorrad started accepting bookings for the cruiser motorcycle in India back in April. The lockdown has delayed the launch but it is finally here. It comes with a twin-cylinder 1800cc boxer engine and is known for its retros styling.
Fuel Price – Petrol and diesel fuel price has slashed by up to 16 paise across all the metro cities. While petrol saw a cut of 13 paise, diesel price went down by 16 paise. In Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs. 81.72 per litre currently while diesel is priced at Rs. 72.78 per litre.
