News highlights of the day include Formula 1, Honda and Harley-Davidson.
Formula 1 – The 2020 Australian GP which was scheduled to be the season opener of the 2020 Formula 1 season has been cancelled due to Coronavirus while Bahrain GP and Vietnam GP has been postponed. This season is now likely to kick off in May with the Dutch GP.
Honda City – The new generation Honda City which is about to launch soon in India is longer and wider than its predecessor and will get a higher ground clearance in India. The wheelbase remains the same as the outgoing model but it is longer than the international spec new gen City offered in Thailand. It will come with the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines with BS6 compliance.
Harley-Davidson – The American premium bike maker will introduce Android Auto touch based infotainment system in its premium range of bikes starting 2021. They already offer Apple CarPlay but none of the bike makers have introduced Android Auto in their products yet.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, Porsche 959 was the first production car to have tyre pressure monitoring system.
