Renault – The French carmaker has extended their presence across India. The have introduced more than 390 sales and 470 service touchpoints. They have added 17 new sales and service touchpoints. This includes 14 showrooms and 3 workshops across the country. They are currently preparing to introduce Duster with 1.3-litre turbo petrol.
Tata Motors – The Indian carmaker has introduced new health and hygiene accessories. They are also offering vehicle disinfectant services. These accessories include air purifier, air filter and a sanitisation kit. The kit includes hand sanitiser, N-95 masks, hand gloves, safety touch key, tissue box, mist diffuser and a driving kit with covers.
Kia – The Sonet has recently made its world premiere and is expected to hit the showrooms next month. Meanwhile, some dealers have started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs. 25,000/-.
Vehicle Registration – Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) released a data today which reports that vehicle registrations have declined in India by 36.27 percent in July 2020. The 2-wheeler sales have declined by 37.47 percent to 8,74,638 units. 3-wheeler sales have fallen by 74.33 percent to 15,132 units. Passenger vehicle sales witnessed a hit of 25.19 percent. Commercial vehicle sales are down by 72.18 percent. However, Tractor sales increased by 37.24 percent.
