TVS Radeon – The commuter motorcycle has got a BS6 update. The updated TVS Radeon is priced from Rs. 58,992/- (ex-showroom). The 109.7cc air-cooled, fuel injected BS6 engine now produces 8.08 BHP at 7350 RPM and 8.7 Nm at 4500 RPM. It is a marginal drop of 0.22 BHP.
Ola – The Indian cab service provider has pledged Rs. 8 crores for Coronavirus relief funds. In a bid to fight the pandemic, the company has pledged Rs. 5 crores to PM cares fund and Rs. 3 crores to states.
EICMA – EICMA organisers stick to the original plan of holding 2020 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy in November 2020 despite COVID-19 crisis in the region and other parts of the world. BMW, KTM and Husqvarna brands have decided not to participate this year.
Fuel Consumption – India’s petroleum product consumption fell 17.79 percent in March 2020 compared to the same time last year. This includes diesel, petrol and aviation turbine fuel. It is the biggest fall in more than a decade due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.
