Modified RE Interceptor 650 Flaunts New Paint Job

The Royal Enfield Interceptor has received a new paint job and inverted forks instead of the conventional units, courtesy Bulleteer Customs. The modification job also adds an aftermarket headlight that comes with a projector setup and an LED DRL. The motorcycle now rides on 17-inch wheels on both ends as against 18-inch units that come as standard. It gets an arresting dual-tone paint theme visible on the fuel tank and on the side panel while the sides hold the Rudra 650 branding.

The factory-installed handlebar has been given a miss and instead it gets a relatively low-set, clip-on style units. The cross-stitch design on the saddle is dropped for a new ribbed style pattern on the modified Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650. The stock exhaust has been traded for a custom unit for a better sound.

The RE Interceptor INT 650 continues to offer the stock specifications as well. Braking duties are undertaken by disc brakes on both wheels while shock absorption is managed at the rear a by gas-charged, twin-sided springs. It continues to offer dual-channel ABS.

Since no new details are mentioned about the engine, it is viable to draw a conclusion that the modified Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 continues to be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin cylinder, air & oil-cooled, SOHC motor with a fuel injection system. It produces 47 PS of power and 52 Nm of peak torque. The 6-speed gearbox features an assist and a slipper clutch.
