The Bajaj Dominar 400 has taken the Indian market by storm with its affordability and practicality.
Bajaj recently commenced deliveries for its performance tourer, the Dominar 400 and it has done all the right things to grab the attention of the Indian buyer. The Dominar 400 is great for touring as it has a comfortable riding position and it also comes with LED headlamps. Recently the Dominar 400 was modified and made into a complete tourer by SahyadriMoto.
The modified Dominar 400 has a Shad SH39 top box which can be used for storing luggage for touring, the crash guards have also been changed, the bike also comes with additionally fitted 18 watt auxiliary LED lights. The flagship Bajaj motorbike gets a custom windshield which will be very useful during highway cruising.
No changes have been made to the engine, the powerplant used here is the same 373.3cc triple-spark, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor that is good to produce 35 PS of maximum power at 8000 RPM and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. This motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. ABS comes as an option and the bike also gets a slipper clutch.
All these modifications done on the Bajaj Dominar 400 will only make the bike more practical as a tourer. The Bajaj Dominar 400 has been priced between Rs. 1.36 lakhs to Rs. 1.50 lakhs. It is aimed directly at the Royal Enfield Classic which accounts for a majority of sales in the Rs. 1-2 lakh segment.
