MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 44.90 lakhs (ex-showroom) in our country. Limited to only 15 units, the car can be booked only via the MINI Online Shop.
Offered as a CBU model, the new MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition is based on the first special edition of this line which came about in 2007.
Available in Deep Laguna metallic exterior colour, that MINI says was specially developed for this edition, the car also features a geometric pattern on the soft-top, special 17-inch Scissor Spoke 2-tone alloys, side scuttles and door sill finishers in the Sidewalk design, and bonnet stripes with pinstripes.
Inside, the MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition price gets customers special leather seats in Anthracite with braided piping in Dark Petrol and accent seams in Energetic Yellow.
The cockpit and door trim also come with Petrol finish, while the multi-function sport leather steering wheel has a Sidewalk logo and contrast seams in Petrol. Ambient lighting and MINI logo puddle lamps (driver side) is also provided, among other features.
Powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder TwinPower turbo engine that puts out 192 HP and 280 Nm which is mated to a 7-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the car sprints from 0-100 km/hr in 7.1 seconds and tops out at 230 km/hr.
Standard safety equipment offered on the Sidewalk edition includes front and passenger airbags, brake assist, dynamic stability control, ABS, cornering brake control and run-flat indicator.
