MINI Charged Edition is available with only 20 units allocated for India
MINI Charged Edition launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 55 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special edition has been imported directly to the country via CBU and only 20 units of the electric car are available for sale in the country.
Those who are interested in the car can book the special edition only on their official website. It is based on the all-electric MINI 3-door Cooper SE. It will come with one-time installation of the MINI Smart Wallbox charger and a portable DC charging cable.
The battery is covered by a warranty valid for 8 years or up to 1,00,000 kilometres. The car comes with a standard two-year warranty for unlimited kilometres.
The Charged Edition comes in Chili Red exterior colour with Multitone Roof. It has got 17-inch MINI Electric Power Spoke alloy wheels and Energetic Yellow accents on the exterior to remind you that it is an electric version of the hot hatch.
It comes with exclusive MINI Electric Interior and sports seats with Leatherette Carbon Black upholstery. Features a 5-inch digital cluster and 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Some of the features include MINI Wired Package with Navigation System, Wireless Charging, enhanced Bluetooth mobile preparation, Apple CarPlay, Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi Speaker System, etc.
The electric motor of the MINI produces 184 HP and 270 Nm of torque. It has a battery capacity of 32.6 kWh and a claimed driving range of up to 270 km on full charge. It can do 0-100 km/hr sprint in 7.3 seconds.
Safety features include Cruise Control, Park Distance Control, Rear View Camera, Tyre Pressure Monitor, front passenger Airbags, Brake Assist, 3-Point Seat Belts, Dynamic Stability Control, Crash Sensor, Anti-lock Braking System, Cornering Brake Control, Run-flat tyres, etc.
