After being showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, the MG ZS petrol has been spotted on test in India. The test mule is wearing heavy camouflage but you could make out the difference in styling with the tail lights.
As seen at the biennial event, the ZS facelift will get new LED headlights, revised grille, new front and rear bumpers and new set of LED tail lights.
The interior too will get changes compared to the current model which is only offered with an electric powertrain in India.
The facelifted ZS is expected to be introduced in our market by March 2021. It is likely to come with either a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor or a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine.
The MG Gloster flagship SUV has also been doing the final rounds of testing in Bangalore. It is about to hit the showrooms this festive season with an estimated price tag of under Rs. 50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Gloster is expected to come with a 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine.
It is a full-size 3 row SUV that will be offered with 6-seater and 7-seater layouts in India. It will compete in the segment above Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
