MG Motor has introduced their first EV in India, the ZS which comes in 2 variants.
The electric vehicle battle is getting strong in India. MG has launched the ZS today which is priced from Rs. 19.88 lakhs (ex-showroom) and is available in two variants – Excite and Exclusive.
The MG ZS EV has a very neutral design language, which is not too loud and neither too simple. The front profile comes with sleek headlamps and chrome embellished front grille. The side profile has a clean design with a strong shoulder line. Rear gets wraparound LED tail lamps and sporty bumper.
The interior looks premium too with black theme and minimalistic styling elements. The cabin is loaded with convenience and connected features.
Some of the key highlights of the MG ZS include PM 2.5 filter, breathable glow logo, panoramic sunroof, KERS 3 level, 3D sound effect, 6 airbgas, 8-inches touchscreen infotainment system, auto headlamps, 3 drive modes, cruise control, electric parking brake, electronic gearshift knob, heated ORVM, internet car, push button start/stop, reverse parking assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc.
It is available in three colour options – white, blue and red. It is powered by a Three Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that produces 142.76 PS of power at 3500 RPM and 353 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM.
It has a battery capacity of 44.5 kWh and a claimed range of 340 km. With the fast charger it can charge 0-80 percent in 50 minutes.
