MG ZS EV now gets updated with 17 ADAS features
MG Motor India has updated the ZS EV with Autonomous Level 2 (ADAS) trim called Exclusive Pro. The car is priced at Rs. 27.89 lakhs (ex-showroom) for a limited period of time. It is Rs. 59,000/- more expensive than the Exclusive trim.
The Level 2 ADAS offers 17 features now. It comes with three levels of sensitivity – low, medium and high. There are three levels of warning as well – haptic, audio and visual.
Now some of these features include Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) which operates the vehicle in bumper to bumper traffic, Forward Collision Warning (FCW) notifies the driver of potential collisions and applies autonomous deceleration if there is no action from the driver, Speed Assist System (SAS) alerts and prevents the driver from over speeding, Lane Functions helps prevent unintentional deviation from the driving lane, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) maintains proper distance from the vehicle in front.
There are no other changes apart from the new ADAS features. The car remains unchanged visually. It has a 461 km claimed range on a single charge with its 50.3kWh battery. The electric powertrain produces 176 PS and offers a 0-100 km/hr acceleration in 8.5 seconds. It comes with three drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.
Some of the highlights include full LED headlamps and tail lamps, 17-inch alloys, 75+ connected car features, Digital Key, full digital cluster, 10.11-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree around view camera with rear parking sensors, Hill Descent Control (HDC), 6 airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill-start assist, etc.
The ZS EV is available in three trims now – Excite, Exclusive and Exclusive Pro. It is available in four colours – Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Candy White.
