MG Windsor dashboard revealed in latest teaser, gets largest in segment screen
MG Windsor EV is all set to launch ahead of this festive season on 11th September. It is being positioned by MG as a “CUV” (Crossover Utility Vehicle) and it promises to deliver a host of segment-leading features.
One of the standout highlights revealed in the latest teaser is the Windsor EV’s infotainment system. Dubbed the “Grandview Display,” this 15.6-inch touchscreen is not only the largest in its segment but also the biggest across all MG models currently available in India. This large, high-definition display is set to be a central feature of the vehicle’s tech-rich cabin.
The teaser also gives us a preview of several advanced features that will be part of the Windsor EV’s package. These include a 360-degree camera for comprehensive visibility, a blind spot monitor for enhanced safety and automatic climate control for optimal cabin comfort.
Additionally, ambient lighting, a fully digital colour instrument cluster and a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel are part of the modern, high-tech interior. The vehicle will also offer a powered tailgate, cruise control and faux wooden inserts on the dashboard, adding to its premium feel. A panoramic sunroof and a rear seat recline package are also set to be available.
On the global stage, the MG Windsor EV is expected to rival the BYD e6, with two battery options being offered – 37.9kWh and 50.6kWh. Both variants come with a single electric motor, with the smaller battery pack delivering a claimed range of 360 km on a full charge, while the larger one offers up to 460 km.
