MG Motor India has revealed the name of their upcoming SUV which is christened Hector.
MG Motor has officially announced the name of their first SUV that will be launched in the Indian market and the vehicle is called Hector. Along with that, the automaker has released a video which shows the SUV undergoing testing in extreme cold conditions in Keylong, Spiti located at a height of 6725 feet.
The video doesn’t reveal much details about the car since the test mule is camouflaged but it shows the LED turn indicators at the front which double up as DRLs. The SUV also gets ABS, TPMS and traction control. The Hector will be similar to the Honda CR-V in size and there is a possibility that MG will offer a 7-seater version.
Specifications of the MG Hector haven’t been revealed but in the Chinese market the ZS comes with a choice of 2 petrol engines. In India the SUV will get a diesel engine too. The MG Hector will be launched in India in June 2019.
