MG Hector Plus Style variant is not on sale due to there being no demand for it. However, word has it that the firm will reintroduce the model if customers ask for the variant.
Now, the SUV is offered in only three variants – Super, Smart, Sharp – for the diesel and in Smart and Sharp variants for the petrol models.
The previous entry-level Style variant was available in the petrol MT and diesel MT versions which were priced at Rs. 13.74 lakhs and Rs. 14.90 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, India, except Kerala), respectively.
Since the MG Hector Plus Style variant is not on sale, the new entry-level variants of the SUV are Diesel MT “Super” which costs Rs. 15.70 lakhs and for petrol, it is DCT “Smart”, priced at Rs. 16.70 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Petrol versions are now available in Smart and Sharp trims alone and if one wants a petrol MT, he or she would have to pick the 1.5-litre petrol hybrid Sharp variant priced at Rs. 17.39 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Diesel variants, powered by a 2.0-litre mill, are three in number and cost between Rs. 15.70 and Rs. 18.69 lakhs (ex-showroom). The diesel models can be had only with a manual gearbox.
