The MG Hector Plus gets captain seats in the second row.
MG has revealed the much anticipated and talked about, the 6-seat version of the MG Hector in India. The SUV has been named as the MG Hector Plus and will be offered only in 6-seat cabin layout. While it remains a lot similar to the standard hector, the Hector Plus gets captain seats in the second row.
What’s interesting is that the MG Hector Plus measures the same as the standard Hector, i.e 4655 mm in length, 1835 mm in width and 1760 mm in height. Even the wheelbase at 2750 mm is unchanged. The 17-inch wheels are retained as well. The SUV has borrowed some of the similar design elements from the seven-seater Wuling Almaz, Hector’s sister unit sold in Indonesia.
In terms of features, it is expected that the production vehicle will get connected car tech as well as the large vertically stacked 10.4-inch touchscreen unit. It is expected that the SUV will be available at a starting price of Rs. 15-16 lakhs in the first half of 2020.
