MG Hector Plus 7-Seater Spotted, Launch By December 2020
The 7-seater car will have a bench seat in the middle row, forgoing the captain seats.
MG Hector Plus 7-seater version has been spied while it was on a test run in India, only one month after the automaker launched the 6-seater version, with prices starting from Rs. 13.48 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Spotted on the Baroda highway by MotorBeamer Ajay Sanchania, the SUV gets a bench seat for the middle row like its 5-seater sibling, the Hector.
During the test drive of the Hector Plus, we found the second row captain seats to be very appealing indeed, for they offered great comfort and space.
Parth Gohil, who reviewed the car, had this to say about the seats, “The captain seats are quite comfortable actually and they do offer a lot of support. The seats are a great place to be in if you’re chauffeur driven and there’s ample amount of legroom and headspace on offer.”
With the bench seat, that additional interior space might be missed and moreover, it is likely to make the third row occupants feel more cramped than before and accessing the last row of seats might not be as easy as well. However, the additional seat will make it relatively more practical for those who gave a big family.
The MG Hector 7-seater test mule had a couple of add-ons from the car’s extensive accessories list.
Those include corner protector on the front bumper (near the headlights) and the rear bumper and a roof carrier.
Launch of the MG Hector 7-seater spied by us will take place by November-December this year and there might be a price difference between 6- and 7-seater versions of the SUV.
