MG Hector dual tone variant named “Dual Delight” has been launched in India and prices for the new variant begin from Rs. 16.84 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Offered only on the top-spec Sharp variant, the dual tone option commands a premium of Rs. 20,000/- in comparison to the monotone colour options.
Introduced hot on the heels of the anniversary edition that got launched just 10 days earlier, it seems MG wants to increase the demand for the car during the festive season.
Although there are five normal colours offered on the Hector, when it comes to the dual tone version, customers have only two choices, namely – Candy White with Starry Black and Glaze Red with Starry Black.
The black treatment separates the top portion of the car from its lower half visually. The roof, A-pillar and the ORVMs have had to be blacked-out for the dual tone variant, while the rest of the pillars already came in black.
No changes have been made to the features list of the Sharp variant with the introduction of the MG Hector Dual Delight, and it gets all the features of the top-spec model, including the panoramic sunroof.
Since MG does not offer the Petrol MT in the Sharp trim, the dual tone variant is limited to the Petrol Hybrid MT, Petrol DCT and Diesel MT.
Bookings have already begun and it can be done online or in person at MG’s dealerships.
