The MG Hector is priced from Rs. 12.18 lakhs to Rs. 16.88 lakhs (ex-showroom).
MG claims to have gathered 28,000 bookings since the launch of its first product in India, the Hector SUV. The brand had even temporarily halted bookings for the SUV towards the end of July. The carmaker has now revealed an extensive list of all the accessories available on the vehicle as well as their prices.
The MG Hector is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that churns 143 PS of power and a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 170 PS. A mild 48V mild-hybrid variant is also available with the petrol option that claims to be approximately 12% more efficient than the petrol-only trim. For gearbox duties, MG offers a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission with the petrol engine while the diesel and the petrol hybrid have to make do without the option of an automatic.
The MG Hector rivals the likes of the Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV500 and the Hyundai Creta. It is available an introductory price of Rs. 12.18 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
