MG Hector 6-seater spotted on test with styling changes.
MG Motor is preparing to introduce a new version of the Hector with 6-seater and 7-seater layout. The carmaker is expected to showcase the new version at the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo.
The 6-seater SUV has been spotted on test recently by MotorBeamer Swapnil Patel. The test mule reveals the new styling details with minimal camouflage and the captain seats can also be spotted in the middle row.
The front profile of the new Hector will get redesigned grille which looks huge along with new LED DRLs and revised bumpers. The rear profile will also come with some changes including new tail lights.
The 6-seater version will be positioned above the Hector and will get a different name just like the difference between its rival the Tata Harrier and the Gravitas.
The interior will remain unchanged with mild revisions in the form of colour tones. The features offered with the Hector will continue to be offered in this version as well.
This car will be offered with the same Hector engine options with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel powertrains including 2.0-litre diesel, 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre petrol with 48V mild-hybrid setup.
