MG Gloster interior images have been leaked ahead of the SUV’s launch that is set to take place this festive season.
As the pictures show, the interior of the car gets a dual-tone theme with tan leather upholstery, complemented by the black trim. Even the portion of the dash along the touchscreen is covered in tan leather for a premium finish.
Standing proud atop the dash is the 12.3-inch touchscreen display, below which sit AC vents, climate control buttons and neatly joined by the centre console, where one can see an enclose stowage area, yacht-style gear selector, drive mode selector and multiple buttons that do various things.
Almost all the controls have the brushed aluminium finish to them, while the steering wheel (above which sits the digital MID) also sports flappy paddles in the same aluminium finish.
While the seats have diamond quilt pattern on them, even the front door cards have the same, unlike the rear door cards.
Front seats are likely to be electrically powered, with the second row seats are captain chairs, while the third row is a bench. Second row occupants get their own AC vent and controls as well.
Other features seen in the pictures are panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake and plenty of stowage areas throughout the car.
We have already been teased by the manufacturer with respect to the car’s exterior design and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, we also know in addition that it will get on-demand 4-wheel-drive as well.
To be powered by a 2.0-litre twin turbocharged diesel engine that produces 218 HP and 480 Nm, gearbox option will likely be limited to an 8-speed unit.
A 2.0-litre turbo petrol that makes 224 HP might also be offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox options. More details will be revealed as the launch gets closer.
