MG Gloster new special edition teased
MG Gloster is getting a new special edition soon as the carmaker teases the SUV with Black Storm badge. We expect the new edition to come with styling changes and new features.
The teaser images of the Gloster have a dark silhouette of the SUV. The only thing that looks clear in the teaser video is the Black Storm badge that will be positioned on the front fenders.
We expect the car to get an all-black treatment, which is the current trend of the industry for some cars, particularly Tata SUVs. The side profile teaser showcases some red light reflections on the exterior, so we might see some red accents on both the exterior and the interior.
We hope the carmaker introduces some new features with this edition to make it more special and desirable for the customers.
We don’t expect any mechanical changes in the car. It is currently powered by a 2.0-litre diesel in two versions – turbo and twin-turbo. The former produces 161 PS and 373 Nm while the twin-turbo version produces 215 PS and 478 Nm.
The special edition is expected to be offered with the range topping variants of the Gloster. Pricing is likely to be a bit higher than the standard variant.
