MG Comet EV price revised along with other MG products
MG Motor India has announced an increase in the prices of select models within its range, effective immediately. Among the affected models is the MG Comet EV, which has seen a price hike across specific variants.
Revised Pricing Details
The MG Comet EV is now available at a starting price of Rs. 6.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The model comes in three main variants: Executive, Excite and Exclusive. Additionally, there is a limited-edition EverGreen version available.
- Executive: Rs. 6.99 lakhs (unchanged)
- Excite: Rs. 8.45 lakhs (with fast charger, increased by Rs. 11,000/-)
- Exclusive: Rs. 9.37 lakhs (with fast charger, increased by Rs. 11,800/-)
- EverGreen: Rs. 9.40 lakhs (with fast charger, increased by Rs. 13,000/-)
The price revisions for the Excite and Exclusive variants include those equipped with fast charging capabilities.
Variant and Colour Options
The MG Comet EV is available in three primary variants and six colour options, catering to diverse customer preferences. The recent price adjustment affects only the fast charger-equipped versions of the Excite and Exclusive variants, while the prices of all other variants remain unchanged.
Price Hike Reason
This price hike comes as part of a broader revision across MG Motor India’s range, including models such as the Astor and Hector. The company has cited various factors, such as increased production costs and supply chain challenges, as reasons for the price adjustments.
