Mercedes has launched the GLC Celebration Edition in India, priced from Rs. 50.86 lakhs.

Celebrating the 70th anniversary of India’s independence and also the successful run of the GLC in the Indian market since its debut in 2016, Mercedes has launched the GLC Celebration Edition SUV in India and prices for the same start from Rs. 50.86 lakhs for the GLC 220d and Rs. 51.25 lakhs for the GLC 300 (both prices, ex-showroom, pan-India).
Available in limited numbers only, here are the changes the Celebration Edition gets over the regular GLC. First is the paint scheme, the GLC Celebration Edition gets a Designo Hyacinth Red colour, ORVMs finished in black, LED logo projectors that project the star symbol on entry and exit, and high-sheened chrome accents on the grille, fog-lamps housing & the rear.
There are tweaks inside the cabin too. The GLC Celebration Edition gets a Garmin Map Pilot SD card navigation system and a sports pedal set-up. The vehicle continues to be powered by a 2143cc, 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 170 HP and maximum torque of 400 Nm and a 1991cc, 4-cylinder petrol engine tuned for 245 HP and 370 Nm of torque. Both these engines come matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission with AWD.
