Mercedes EQS 580 4Matic price revealed ahead of its launch
Mercedes EQS 580 is scheduled for its India launch on 30th September and it will come with a price tag of Rs. 1.70 crores (ex-showroom). Last month they launched the performance oriented Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+, priced at Rs. 2.45 crores (ex-showroom).
Unlike the AMG version, the EQS 580 4Matic will be assembled locally in India. It will be their first electric vehicle to be assembled in India.
It’ll come with a 107.8kWh battery pack and two electric motors with a combined output of 523 HP and 865 Nm of torque. It will have a claimed WLTP cycle driving range of 770 km on a single charge. It’ll be the highest range offered in an EV in India.
With a fast charger, it can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 31 minutes. It does 0-100 km/hr in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/hr compared to AMG’s 3.4 seconds and 250 km/hr top speed.
The regular EQS will come with simple styling details and more luxurious interior, unlike the sporty version of the AMG. It’ll be available in black, grey, white, blue and silver colour options. Two colour options for the interior – Neva Grey/ Balao Brown and Macchiato Beige/ Space Grey.
