On the inside, along with more space, there is new age technology throughout including the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen taken straight from the S-Class.
The touchscreen infotainment system features ‘Hey Mercedes’ connected car technology while other features include sunroof, wireless charging, heated steering wheel, and Nappa leather upholstery.
The luxury sedan is likely to sport both petrol and diesel engine options including a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit good for 167 HP and 250 Nm while a 9-speed automatic gearbox will be the sole transmission on offer.
The car is also likely to feature integrated starter-generator (ISG) as well, although the exact details of the powertrains which will be offered here is unknown.
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected to be launched at a starting price of Rs. 50.01 lakhs (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will rival the competitors – Audi A4, Volvo S60, BMW 3 Series, and Jaguar XE.
