The German luxury auto manufacturer, Mercedes Benz is all ready to launch their upcoming B-Class in different markets across the globe. To be positioned as a sports tourer, the new Mercedes Benz B-Class is going be a blend of space and comfort and being agile and efficient at the same time. So, in short, the Mercedes Benz B-Class combines the agility of a hatchback with the interior space of an MPV. In terms of looks, it equally gives a good impression. Under the hood, the B-Class gets an all new 1.6 litre 4 cylinder engines in 2 forms, the B180 and the B200. The B180 produces 122 BHP of power and 200 Nm of torque while the B200 develops 156 BHP of power and 250Nm of torque at 1250 RPM. The combustion process taking place is based on the third generation Mercedes Benz direct injection fuel systems. Another attractive feature is the transmission. Mated to the engines is the all new 7G-DCT dual clutch transmission which according the company, combines the comfort of an automatic with the efficiency of a manual transmission. Other features include Adaptive Headlamp Assist, Blind Spot Detection System with Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Assist, Active Parking Assist, Brake Hold Function, Hill Hold Function, Reverse Camera, DISTRONIC PLUS and LINGUATRONIC as standard. With so much tech packed in, this car is definitely going be one of the major attractions this year.
