Chinese motorcycle brand Moto has revealed its full-faired sub-600cc offering, the S450RR, and it looks like an obvious copy of the BMW S 1000 RR.
While the bike has a tri-colour paint job with huge RR decals which resemble the BMW S 1000 RR, the S450RR gets some bits from other bikes as well.
This is so because the front end of the Moto S450RR gets Yamaha R1/R6 inspired headlamps integrated inside the fairing while the rear end looks exactly like the Kawasaki Ninja 300’s.
While the design is a hit and a miss, Moto has equipped the bike with some good features. The S450RR gets a digital instrument cluster with TFT display, USD forks upfront, all LED lighting, dual-channel ABS and integrated rearview mirrors.
The power figures aren’t as impressive as the feature list, though. The bike gets a 450cc, parallel-twin mill with FI and it makes 24 BHP of peak power and 22 Nm of peak torque.
Further, for braking duties, the Moto S450RR has dual-disc brakes upfront and a single disc brake at the rear. The bike also gets decent IRC Road Winner tyres to keep you upright on the tarmac.
Price, you ask? Around 50 million Vietnamese Dong. Shocked after reading the word ‘Million’? Don’t be, as the price actually rounds up to just Rs. 1.6 lakhs! Sadly, the Moto S450RR will not be hitting Indian shores ever, but if it were to, would you consider it? At Rs. 1.6 lakhs, it actually makes a good deal!
