Maserati Grecale launched in India with three variants on offer
Maserati Grecale has landed to the Indian shores with a starting price of Rs. 1.31 crores (all prices, ex-showroom). This model is available in three variants – GT (Rs. 1.31 crores), Modena (Rs. 1.53 crores) and the range topping Trofeo (Rs. 2.05 crores).
Both the GT and Modena variants are equipped with a mild-hybrid 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The GT variant produces 300 HP, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in 5.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 240 km/hr. The Modena variant is tuned to deliver 330 HP, doing the 0-100 km/hr acceleration in 5.3 seconds while maintaining the same top speed. Both variants feature an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, with the Modena additionally offering a limited-slip differential and adaptive suspension.
The flagship Trofeo variant boasts a 530 HP, 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine. This powerhouse allows the Trofeo to sprint from 0-100 km/hr in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 285 km/hr. It includes an electronic limited-slip differential as standard.
The entry-level GT variant comes equipped with 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, chrome grille highlights and twin dual-exhaust tips. Inside, it features 10-way powered front seats with memory function, dual 12-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment, optional heads-up display, 8-inch touch-enabled panel for dual-zone climate control, 14-speaker sound system and aluminium paddle shifters. Safety is ensured with Level 1 ADAS.
The Modena enhances the GT’s offerings with 20-inch wheels, black exterior highlights, leather interiors, 14-way adjustable sport seats with heating and a three-zone climate control system.
The Trofeo takes luxury and performance up a notch with 21-inch wheels, red brake calipers, sportier front and rear bumpers, side skirts and carbon-fiber elements inside and out.
Maserati is set to expand its footprint in India by opening new dealerships in Delhi and Bengaluru. Currently, Maserati operates a single showroom in Mumbai.
Maserati also plans to introduce the all-electric Grecale Folgore to the Indian market, though the specific timeline remains undisclosed. The brand’s strategy to re-enter the Delhi and Bengaluru markets, along with the launch of new models, is expected to bolster its sales and presence in India.
